Full time Artist working on several sculpture, mixed media and painting projects. Unique and One of a kind works of art ranging from mixed media water colors, acrylic paintings, collage art to the newly launched "Reclaimed Series" featuring Sculpture from Found or Abandoned Trash. Each piece has is unique and has a part of what I love in it. From abstract forms, to texture and innovative use of materials. Influenced by nature and architecture, I draw heavily on geometry and influences of time in nature.

Acting as assistant, part-time aid to property management for apartment complex and additional properties. Duties include coordinating subcontractors, design consultation, and labor. Project tasks include but are not limited too: Electrical, Mechanical and Plumbing upgrades, additions, roof repairs, removal and installation of kitchen + bath cabinetry, counters, new tubs and toilets, tile work, new window and doors, new fixtures, painting and full landscaping. Emphasis on quality control and pre-move-in inspections.
PLAY
Founder + Director Non-Profit Community Arts Program

PLAY, was a project of Dinnerware Arts. PLAY was a non-profit gallery, boutique and performance venue, located in Tucson Arizona, aiming to support emerging and established artists of all mediums and working towards establishing a thriving downtown community. Directing and managing a variety of art showings and gallery spaces. Duties included marketing, advertising, artist representation, public showings, performance scheduling, events planning, sales, and generating public involvement and interaction in the downtown arts.
Including website development and establishing an internet presence. Developing business plan including target goals, mission statements + objectives, financial structure, fund raising planning and marketing strategies. Community Management of volunteers, artists and member involvement as well as press releases and public imagery. Additionally managing financial records, projected budgets, community relations and calls to the community for donations.

Project Manager for several Custom Home and Small Remodeling projects. Extensive Construction Documents experience through the development of a Model Plan. Duties included all areas of design, City of Tucson coordination and permitting, extensive coordination with structural engineers, contractors and all subcontractors, developing Cost Estimates, bids and Cost feasibility Studies.
Marketing Management duties included redevelopment and overhaul of company website including logo and graphic redesign, Branding/signage and image design, Consultant coordination, Photo shoots and Photo processing. Redesign and organization of company contracts, press kits and public awareness campaigns. Design submissions and awards also managed.
Carver + Schicketanz Architecture
Project Manager
Carmel, California 2005-2006
Project Manager for two large-scale projects. One custom home, approx. 4,000 sq.ft, located in Big Sur, California. Project included a two story main house, a subterranean guesthouse and a detached yoga studio. Project was in schematics, preplanning and zoning phases. The alternate project was the reconstruction of a historic barn in Santa Ynez, Ca. The barn framework was transplanted from the East Coast to be reconstructed and retrofitted as a residential second unit. Materials and their registered strengths, recycling and preservation of character were leading all design decisions.
Duties included product research, zoning, county coordination and permitting, client meetings, extensive renderings of proposed schematics and site analysis (including survey coordination, arborist, historian and geologist coordination). Research and developing green standards based on the USGBC Sustainable Technologies manual and LEEDS standards guided most design decisions. Administrative and design duties included contract drafting and negotiation, consultant coordination with structural engineers as well as product vendors, structural detailing and drafting, scheduling, design development, construction documents, bidding documents, and all administration and coordination of parties involved.

Projects varied from schematic design work for Religious Institutions to master planning for a large scale tourist development in Rocky Point, Mexico. Duties included construction documents, extensive as-built drawings and verification, interior design and presentation, schematic design, design development, spec writing and code verification with local Mexican and Tucson governments.

Projects included master planning for a 900,000 acre community in Salt Lake City, Utah. The firm was responsible for the Landscape Architecture for the community and the Urban Development plans, including defining transportation and city center locations, green belts and pollution filtration systems. Job duties included: development of design guidelines, product research, methods for brown field clean up and restoration research, cost estimates for landscaping, landscape grading, design of smaller architectural elements (i.e., bridges, towers, piers etc.), streetscape designs and presentation boards and slideshows.
